Medico group returns to Copenhagen
18-07-2008
Companies:
M.D. and billionaire Claus Christiansen has bought back his medical development company from US Synarc of which he has also acquired control. The group that is to move to Denmark has a turnover of approximately 100 mio. euro.
“We expect to move our head office to Copenhagen. The turnover is presently approximately USD 150 million with a significant growth rate potential. I believe that the potential during the first 3-4 years will grow by 50 per cent annually,” says Claus Christiansen.
If this will prove correct the new company CCBR-Synarc will have a turnover of USD ½ billion or in 2011, writes epn.dk.
“We will cover several fields of the development process i.e. offer to take over the entire development of the company’s products in packages. We will still focus on osteoporosis, arthritis, obesity and cardiovascular disease,” says Claus Christiansen.
